Sam J R S has been working in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Food has always been his passion, and throughout his journey he has had the opportunity to work with some of the most respected hotel groups, including Taj and Leela in India, before making Perth his home.
Today, he proudly operates Indian Mirchi, a fine-dining Indian restaurant that brings the authentic flavours of India to the local community. Sam is also a qualified Trainer and Assessor, and over the years he has mentored and trained many chefs and hospitality professionals, helping them build the confidence and skills needed to succeed in their careers.
Sam credits his journey to the unwavering support of his wife, Evangeline S, and their children, Jerslyn S and Raphaelyn S, as well as his dedicated kitchen team, front-of-house staff, and the encouragement he receives from a wonderful community of customers, friends, and family. Their support motivates him to work with integrity, humility, and passion in everything he does.
